Does the game need an internet connection?

No. You can play offline. Advertisements, including the ones that turn on AUTO CUT and AUTO TAP, need a connection.

Where is my progress saved?

On your phone. There is no account, so if you delete the game, your farm is deleted with it.

How do I change my advertising choice?

Open the settings in the game and tap Privacy options. On iPhone you can also go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
